Carolina Bouten-Pinto is passionate about enabling people to work effectively with cultural diversity. She has over 25 years combined experience as a manager and cultural diversity consultant in the private, not for profit, government and health sectors, in Canada, Europe, Asia and Australia.
Caroline holds tertiary qualifications in Community Development and Adult Education, and a Masters of Management (Hons) from Griffith University specialising in reflexivity and cultural diversity in organisations.
Before joining Judith Miralles & Associates, as the Consulting Manager for Partners in Cultural Competence in Queensland she was instrumental in developing and delivering accredited and non-accredited cultural responsiveness training and consultancy services throughout Queensland, based on her ‘Culture Wise Practice’® approach to management and leadership. This approach has enabled hundreds of people, from frontline staff to senior managers effectively negotiate and deal with difference in their everyday work practice and relationships. She is currently completing a PhD to further develop this proposition to put forward a relational approach to leadership in culturally diverse organisations.
